The Parliamentary. Committee's report on( the deaths on the troopship which carried the Fortieth Reinforcements has been presented to the Minister of Defence. Sir James Allen has received a letter from a lance-corporal on the ship speakirfg in good terms of the food, but stating that towards the end of the voyage the oakera were ill, and there was no fresh bread.
