ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES

(Peb United Press Association.) \ AUCKLAND, December 18. Mr George 11. Kent, aged '83 years, was knocked down by a tramcar, and died in. the hospital Oaptain William Wheeler, medical officer on leave from Featherston camp, was found dead in bed ot Te Aroha. Mr W E. Hutchison, builder, of Epsom, was seriously injured in a collision between a motor car and lorry. His skull was fractured, and his brain severely lacerated. Hi» condition is critical.
