IMPRISONMENT "WITHOUT ALTERNATIVE. ;Peb United Press Association.) W KLUNGTON, November 27. Three men named respectively Casey, M'Donald, and Denhami were sentenced to three months' imprisonment, _ without tho option of a fine, for assaulting Constable Hunt, who had iust / returned to duty after an attack of influenza. Tho magistrate denounced such "cowardly and brutal as* saults," and refused to inflict a mere fine.-
