A fire endangered the lives of Vicepresident Marshall and numbers of sensators. . Ifc broke out in a leading hotel. The Vice-president, attired in a bath robe, brought his wife and child down an escape. Other guests escaped in their night attire, and several attempted to. jump from windows. The outbreak was easily controlled.
