METHODIST MISSION

The- annual missionary meeting of the Cargill Iload Methodist Church was held last evening. . Mr A. M'lndoe occupied the eliair. The Rev. Pearn, of Kaitangata, gave the main address, taking as his subject '' Back-block Missions," and relating some very interesting incidents of church work in the outlying districts. The Roslyn Methodist Church Choir contributed several most enjoyable musical items. Misses D. Allnutt and Chapman and Mr P. Holmes rendered solos, to which accompaniments were tastefully played by Miss Wright.
