. The box plans for tire J. C. 'Williamsoa Katiiiene MaeDonell season will bo opened at the Bristol to-morrow morning. By all i accounts, Edward Sheldon has achieved a lino nlay in " Komancc." The atmosphere is one of '' rapture and roses"—idyllic and alluring to a degree. " Romance" should give Miss MaeDonell many opportunities for the display of her undoubted talent, the playing of the part of the beautiful prima donna calling for pretty well every emotion in the whole gamut of feeling. The present occasion will mark the farewell visit of both Miss and Mr Charles Waldron to tne dominion. An added feature may bo anticipated in tho excellence of tho cast provided. Messrs Roy Redgrave, Kenneth Brampton, Bert Barton, Frank Hatherley, Charles Brown, and Misses Emma Temple, Beryl Bryant, Clarice Hardwicke, Audrey North, Millie Engler are all names well and favourably known in theatrical circles. After three nights of " Romance" will be presented " The Cinderella Man" and "Daddy Long Legs." "The Cinderella Man" will bo presented on Friday night. It is said to be a most artistic production, with many tense and stirring situations, and tho art of the two principals makes it thoroughly enjoyable. Tho production is said to be a modern fairy tale of real life —Cinderella and a modern Prince Charming. Bright and original in conception, with line human interest and dainty lovo story, the. piece comes with the reputation of being one of the most delightful presented within a decade. The season will comenco on Tuesday.
