A memorial tablet was being designed for tho purpose of commemorating his long eonnoction with the church, and it was hoped to have this set up at an early date. ,1 The chair was occupied by tho vicar (tho 0 Rov. J. L. Mortimer), and there was an excellent attendance. The report and balanco sheet were adopted, several of tho speakers expressing the opinion that, in view of the troublous times through which wo were all passing, tho parish was to be congratulated upon the - healthy state of affairs existing. Tho following ofhoers were elected for tho - ensuing year:—Vioar's churchwarden, Mr L. D. Ritchie; people's warden, Mr A. J. 1 Gall; vestrymen—Messrs P. J. Priest, A. V. Winchester, Henderson, F. T. Taylor, J. F. • Wilson, W. A. Partiger, F. Mace, R. B. 3 Hill, G. H. Saxton, T. Hurd. ' The Vicar made rderence to the splendid services rendered by Miss Favell aa organist ' for a number of years, and on behalf of the ' parishioners presented heT with a purse of sovereigns as a token of. high esteem and gratitude. Miss Favell thanked the parisliil oners for their gift, and referred to tho good feeling that always oxistod among the mera- . bers of the choir. 1
