"WELLINGTON, March 26. The transfer of institutions dealing with invalid soldiers from tho Health Department to the Defence Department will be completed at the end of the month.

The Defenco authorities are planning to provide a sanatorium for the treatment of consumptive soldiers in tho North Island, but the site has not been selected yet. A second sanatorium may be provided in the South Island. When the military sanatoria have been erected the Defence Department will hand over to tho Health Department tho Wailcato sanatorium, which is accommodating soldier patients, but is not regarded altogether as suitable for the treatment of returned men.
