AMUSEMENTS.

Alico Joyce, in "The Question," is the chief attraction at the Octagon Theatre. Tho drama revolves round tho lives of a man and woman, the question with which they are faced arising irom their relations witn each other. Iho first episode of a new and costly serial, "The Secret Kingdom," and the latest Pathe Gazette form tho supporting items. " The Hidden Spring" and the supporting films at tho Empire Theatre were witnessed by a good audience last evening, and much enjoyed. For the change to-day at the Plaza the manager has secured a delightful subject in the wonder Metro play entitled "God's Half-acre." Tho story is one of great charm, teeming with unusual situations of both comedy and pathos. There are many thrilling moments also, and a delightful love story is unfolded in a decidedly interesting manner. "God's Half-acre" possesses every requisite for a screen masterpiece. The acting is good, the story is unusual and high in quality, the action is rapid, there is a good plot, photography and production generally is of a high standard, and there is a strong appeal. As a special attraction, and which will also be effective, during the screening of this wonderful story, Madame Reggiardo will sing "When You- and I Were Young, Maggie," and other grand old songs. The supporting pictures are varied and pleasing.
