CHRISTOHURCH, October 30.

In the Supreme Court Charles Henry Burrow, on nine charges of indecent assault, was sentenced to nine months on each charge, cumulative. ' James Dγ yer, on a charge of indecent assault, received six months.

In tho case of John Griffen, charged with stealing 15cwt of ingot tin and 2cwt of leadheaded nails, valued at £233 10s, his Honor directed the jury to bring in ,i verdict of not guilty, which was done.

Silas James Devlin M'Alister, a youth, charged with arson, was ordered to come up for sentence when called upon within the next three years, on the understanding that he placed himself under .the control of th-; Salvation Army for tho period mentioned.

The Craddock caee will be taken tomorrow.
