GRADUATED INCOME TAX

The Senate amended the Revenue Bill, which now provides for a graduated tax on incomes, ranging from 1 per cent, on incomes of SCOO dollars to 50 per cent, on incomes of 500,000 dollars. These Amendments will add 75,000,000 dollars to the revenue. President Wilson has had several lengthy conferences, at which he mapped out a campaign to fix the cost of all war essentials.
