On Monday next the great "moral" picture entitled "Ignorance"" wil' be screened, and from reports of its success in other centres it should enjoy a popular season hero. Tho Empire Theatre pictures probably do not require to have their merits extolled The current s'eries of pictures com-* pel interest, and what is much better revtain it to a finish. ' DUNEDIN CHOR AL SOCIETY. To-night the Dunedin Choral Society give "Hiawatha" in His Majesty's Theatre. The audience is kindly asked to be seated by 8 o'clock, when the concert will open with Elgars setting of the National Anthem, for solo chorus and orchestra.
