Snub and Wardaucer galloped eix furlongs in lmin 24 3-fiscc, and Disdainful four furlongs in 52 2-sseo. Johnny Walker traversed five furlongs in lmin 6 2-ssec. Cardrona beat Sir Agnes and Ranmanawhiri over six furlongs in lmin 23seo, and Parisian Diamond beat Miss Do Vol.. over seven iurlongs in lmin 37 2-ssec. Dionysiris beat Marconi and Te Ongo over seven furlongs in lmin 39sec and 'Pip Up beat Zuland in a seven-furlong gallop in lmin 36 2-oseo. Penury beat Thames and Minesweeper over seven furlongs in lmin 38seo and King Star covered a similar distance in lmin 38 2-osec. Fiery Cross, assisted by Killjoy, galloped six furlongs in lmin 21 l-ssec. Art negotiated a mile in lmin 50 l-sseo, and was brought home by Riga. Killard beat. Lion over seven furlongs in lmin 38 2-56e0, and Rajput beat Probation over five furlongs in lmin 8 2-6 sec. Crib and Kaupokonui went once ronnd the fences jumping fairly well. Diavolo, Sandy Paul, and St. Elmn started for a round over country.' The last pair lost their riders at the double, bnt afterwards fenced safely. Compulsion and San Sebastian jumped two hurdles smartly, and Bon Reve and Sleight-of-hand negotiated two hurdle 3 brilliantly. Rewi Poto got over three hurdles alone safely. Coalition went onoo ronnd over the fences, shaping well. Handsome Boy accompanied Coalition, bnt his exhibition was moderate, and he fell at tho last fence. Rania and Luigi went onco round over tho fences smartly and St. Curio jumped two hurdles smartly! c-alat.hiel put up a similar performance. Taacihaere jumped the brush fence at a slow pace. A large number of other horses did useful padnc and short, sprints. b HARRIERS. The St. Joseph's Harriers held their Five-mile Championship and Sealed Handicap rut Forburv Park on Saturday. The ohampionship was won by L. STAIlen (time, 28min 6see), with J. Burk second. The Sealed Handicap was won by W Lucas. BOXING. The Otago Boxing Areoalation's tournament, to 1>" hold in filers' Hall on Monday night, promises to provide .patrons of the sport with a good cvMiing's onjovmont. Large entries have been received locally, and a number from Soutlilaud and Canterbury.
