DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. Two sales of Huddart-Parkers (ord.) were made on 'Change yesterday at £1 13s sd, and in the afternoon there was a further buyer at £1 13s 3d, with a 6eller at £1 13s 6d. Prices of Bank of New Zealands were about even with recent quotations, the new issue being wanted at £17 ,14s, with a seller at £17 17s 6d. while the other issue had a seller at £12 17s 6d, but no buyer. P. and 0. deferred stock had a seller at £330 per cent., but no buyer. Dominion Rubbers were on offer at £2 2s 6d, without result, and Dunedin-Kaikorai Trams were wanted at £1 3s, with no seller quoting. (Received August 15, at 0.5 a.m.) Waihi—buyers £1 17s 6d, sellers £1 18s 9d; Junction—buyers 15s 6d, sellers 15s 6d. The quarterly meeting of the Public Service Superannuation Board was held on Thursday. Nineteen contributors, retired under section 35 of the Act, by reason of ago or length of service, were granted annual allowances, totalling £3251 14s per annum, and five contributors, retired as medically unfit, were granted allowances aggregating £382 13s per annum. Six widows and six ohfldren were granted the statutory allowances, amounting to £186 per annum. The board refused to grant allowances to four contributors whom it was proposed to retire as medically unfit. In consequence of retirement under 6eetion 35 accrued compensation to the amount of £6903 10s 3d became a liability of the Superannuation Fund and a corresponding relief to the Consolidated Fund.
