BULGARIAN RAID REPULSED. HEALTH OF TROOPS GOOD. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. . LONDON, August 10. British Salonika official: Our cavalry repulsed a Bulgarian raid at Cuculuk; we bombed an aerodrome at Liunovo. There is a marked improvement in the health of the troops. The admissions to the hospitals are one-third less than in 1916, and deaths from diseases are nearly two-thirds less. ATTACKS ON TURKISH FORTS. WARSHIPS .AND MONITORS BUSY. ATHENS. August 10. Aaiied warships are bombarding the Turkish forts in Asia Minor. British monitors silenced one battery and destroyed an aerodrome. GREEK DUPLICITY. NEGOTIATIONS WITH GERMANY. INTERESTING DISCLOSURES, ATHENS, August 11. (Received Aug. 12, at 5.5 p.m.) The Finance Minister made some sensational revelations in the Chamber. He showed that M. Skouloudis and M Gonnaris had contracted for a German loan of 80,000,000 marks in 1916 through the National Bank of Greece. The first instalment of 40,000,000 marks was paid simultaneously with the surrender of Fort Rupel. The Lambros Cabinet, early in contracted for a German loan of 40,000,000 marks, but the blockade prevented its completion.
