Maxwell Russell Holgate. a teacher at the Momington School, whose name appears in the ballot, enlisted immediately he turned 20 years of age, but was at that time rejected as unfit. He again enlisted about a fortnight ago, was passed fit, and is to leave with tho 30th Roinforcements. Eric Bennett-?, whoso name appears in the above list, was formerly an assistant on the sub-editorial stn.fr of the Otngo Daily Times. Ho has volunteered in Auckland, and has been passed as fit for active service. Noel N. L.
