HARRIERS.
The combined harrier clubs of Dunedm held a very successful inn on Saturday hom St. Joseph's Hall, Rattray street, as tho guests of Mu> Jackson. Tiio pack, to the number of 60, under Deputv Captain T. Roughan, headed up the hill skirting tho Asylum Orojnds, thence thioiigh the, Golf Links to the reservoir, returning homo via tho bullock track and along tho Town Belt drive. Although tho going was somewhat llea\y on account of the recent rains, the run was enjoyed. On ictuinrag to tho hall refreshments were gladly partaken of. A few musical items were then rendered 'fjy the ladies and harriers of tho different clubs represented. A very sociable evening was then brought to a clos° by tho captain of tho St. Joseph's Harriers (Mr E. W. Nolan), who ovtended a hearty welcome to all thoso present, and thanked them for their attendance at tho run. They would all recognise thoir indebtedness to Mrs Jackson and her lady helpers, who had so generously provided for them that afternoon. Mr T. Paterson (of tho Anglican Club), on behalf of tho harriers, endotsed the remarks of Mr Nolan. Thrco hearty cheers were given for Mrs Jackson and her assistants.
