A large public meeting at Apriti yesterday decided to push the demand for railway oommunioation by a line from Feildiug, through Kimbolton, Apiti, and Raftgiwahia to Utiki. WELLINGTON, April 12. At the Court to-day John &?lcivington was committed for trial on a charge of causing actual bodily harm to Solomon Hyam Myers. > The charge arose out of a collision between Skivinjjton's motor car and a tram. • While Skmngton wae trying to extricate the car he struck Myers, who bad his leg broken.
