At the Addiiigton live stock market to ; day there were large entries of sheep, especially stores, and an increase of fat cattle. There was a good attendance of buyers. Fat cattle sold at last week's rates lor prime, but other descriptions were rather easier. Prime ,fat lambs maintained their value, but light sorts were down about 6d per head, Store sheen wore slower ol sale, and tat sheep barely equal to late rates. Store cattle were dull of salo. Pigs sold well. Announcement is made by the military authorities (eaya the New Zealand Times) that returned soldiers who are sent to camp in Now Zealand as fit, and subsequently sent on sick leave from camp, are not entitled to lodging allowance, but are to bo treated the same as recruits.
