(Received April 11, at 9.20 p.m.) A communique states We captured a trench on the Lower Strypa, and the enemy, in fruitless counter-attacks, sustained heaivy losses. ' . Our troops in the Caucasus attacked through deep snow, crossing, a large number of crevasses in the direction of Diarbekir. We are closing on the enemy in the region of the Goiniukov Valley. We repulsed several attacks near Bitlis, and fought numerous engagements with large hordes' of Kurds, supported by Turkish regulars, south of Lake Urumih.
