SHIPPING SPACE

MR MASSEY HOPEFUL.

(Peb United Pbess Association.) WELLINGTON, April 10. The Prime Minister (Mr Massey), discussing the question of shipping space, says there is a reasonable hope that the Rangatira, now ashore at Capetown, will be refloated; also that the Matatua, damaged by explosion at St. John, will be hi commission again. He understood that the latter had already been refloated. Delay was unavoidable, but he believed he would be able to meet the demands for space.
