COALING TRANSPORTS
SPECIAL BATTALION TRAINING.
MELBOURNE, April 8. The Defence authorities are forming a naval coaling battalion for coaling trans ports. Mr Jensen, Minister for the Navy, states that this action is due to the wav transports are being delayed .by labour troubles. ' Three hundred men will be sworn in during the coming week. They will wear a distinctive uniform and receive union pay. • ' '
