OVERSEAS CLUB.
A largo number of members attended tho club room yesterday, with tho result that a splendid day's work was done for tho soldiers. Tho room had quite a busy appearance, and a large number of holdalls and housewives aro folded ready to send away. Tho president (Mrs Statham) will bo glad to welcome will.'ng hands on Wednesday and Friday next, when more work for tho soldiers will bo gone on with. Money donations or material for the soldiers in Pont de Koubbeh Hospital will be gladly received; aloo clothing for tho distressed Belgians. The oommittco asknowledges with thanks tho following donations: —Mrs Bardsloy, 10s (clothing and soldiers' comforts); Mr CliamIborlain (clothing), Mrs Greenslado (balaclavas and £1), Mi's Jas. Anderson, Maori Hill (clothing), Mrs Findlay (clothing and cuffs). The oommittco is indebted to Mr rorrcster for kindly lending a sewing machine to tho clu'b.
