For the United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, per Kia Ora, via Montevideo and Teneriffe, from Wellington by North Express at 10 a.m. Late-'fec letters C.P.O. 10.30 a.m., guard's Tan 11.14 a.m. FRIDAY, JANUARY 14. For Lyttelton and Christchurch, per Westralia, at 11.15 a.m. Late-fee letters noon on board. SATURDAY, JANUARY 15. For Australian States and South Africa, per Riverina, from Auckland, by North Express at 10 a.m. Late-fee letters C.P.O. MLW a.m., and guard's van till 11.14 a.m. Mails for Australian States, Expeditionary Force (Egypt), Ceylon, India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements, South Africa, also United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, for correspondence specially addressed via Suez (due London February 23), per Manuka, will close at Wellington on Thursday, 13th inst., at 3.30 p.m. Mails for Chatham Islands, per Himitangi, will close at Lyttelton on Thursday, 13th inst., at 4 p.m. The next best despatch for United Kingdom and Continent of Europe is via Vancouver, closing on the 22nd inst. Note. —As correspondence for all neutral countries is subject to censorship, it is urged, in order to avoid delays, that such correspondence be posted in ample time for the v mail, the day previous to its despatch, if possible. Money orders for places within the dominion cloee one hour before advertised time of dosing letter mails. _ Money orders for plaoes bevond the dominion for despatch by the North or South Express close at 4 p.m. the previous day. The late fee is Id in addition to ordinary postage. The late-fee box on Second North Express is available for .letters only. Registered mails close one hour before advertised time of closing ordinary mails. Book packets, commercial papers, and i newspapers close half an hour before tea I advertised time of letter mails. H.
