GENERAL ASSEMBLY. (Pee United Pksss Association.) AUCKLAND, November 19. At to-day's sitting of the Presbyterian Assembly the Knox College report' stated that £15,000 was sorely needed if the college was to play the part it should' in helping students. The building fund showed a debit balance of £1352. Owing to the war the numbers fell from 83 to 57 at the end of the session. AUCKLAND, November 20. The Rev. A. M. Ryburn, of First Church, Invercargill, was elected Moderator for the next Assembly. It was decided to authorise ,a committee to make inquiries with a view to starting a Maori boys' college on a modified basis, and to sell the Mananui School farm.
