BAY TOWN BOARD.

The Mimster, replying to previous correspondence with the board on the question of uniting Anderson Bay with the oily, stated >that an inspection of plana and descriptions of the country between the two < areas-revealed/ the fact that the two districts did not form one continuous area. ' It "Was not possible, therefore, to effect the union, section 120 of "The Municipal Corporation Act| 1908," making such continuity i a oopdition precedent to union, and' he, de-sired-to know whether the board purposed taking any further action in the matter.— On this matter the Chairman -~ expressed the opinion that before •anything eke was done it would be better to wait' until after the ■ conference between; the board and the <aV bad taken place. ,At this .conference bo thooght the questkm of arranging boundaries should be discussed. He was of the opinion that the boundary should be altered eo as to extend to Mr Scobie Mackenzie's property, and thence, to the Tomahawk Lagoon.— Mr Sbacklock said, that this was pTobably what city would want.
