Our artillery on Monday night effectively attacked supply columns between Bercherova and Orchava, and in the vicinity of Sokolavatz. The enemy on the same night opened a violent infantry artillery fire on our positions at Dognjimlarnovatz (?). Our artillery promptly silenced him. The enemy on Tuesday attempted to land on the right bank of" the Danube near Golubac and was allowed to come within 15 yards of tho shore. We then opened a sustained fire.
