Slit,—For over a month "Mystified" has been writing letters to you charging mo with several more or less serious lapses. Somo dozen letters have appeared on the subject. This unknown and irresponsible critic has repeated eomo of his charges in the face of tangible and satisfactory proof of the absolute falsity of those charges. "Mystified" apparently believes in hurling much mud in the hope that somo of it may stick. To prevent the public from any further imposture by "Mystified" I challenge him to s.gn iiis name and como from, under the shelter of the cowards' castle of anonymity. By doing so ho can show your readers who he is t.'iat he is not merely a political scandalmonger, a prominent local Masseyite (and as such a bitter political opponent of .
