DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. The share market was quiet yesterday. No sales were recorded on 'Change. Waihis were slightly firmer, business being reported at £2 Os l£d, with further sellers at £2 Is, but no buyers. Buying offers for Wailii Grand Junctions were steadier at £1 3s 6d, with sellers firm at £1 4s 6d. Bank and insurance stocks were in firm demand, but the market was again bare of sellers. Two sales of Union Steams (ord;) were reported at £1 3s 6& There were further inauiries at this price, with no sellers under £1 4s 6d. New Zealand Drugs had renewed inquiry at £2 4s 6d, and M'Leod Soaps at £13, but sellers were unquoted. Sales Reported.—Waihi, £2 Os Union Steam (ord.), £1 3s 6d (two parcels).
