MELBOURNE, January 27.
The exodus of Federal Ministers to Sydney has begun, and next week the whole Cabinet will meet in Sydney. The. move is adversely criticised in Melbourne, and it is suggested that the gathering of Ministers in Sydney is a breach of the Federal Constitution.
Metropolitan flourmillers are feeling the lack of supplies of grain from the country considerably. It is stated that unless some means are adopted to assure early supplies the mills 'will be forced to close down, as their reserve stocks are almost exhausted.

Mr Mitchell, acting inspector-general of police, has been appointed inspectorgeneral.
The Legislative Assembly to-day carried a resolution of sympathy with Airs Trefle, widow of the late Minister of Lands. Mr Cann (Chief Secretary) paid a tribute to bis late colleague.
