FIRES.

(From Oub Own Coebespondent.) GREYMOUTH, January 26. The biggest fire that has occurred in the borough oi lJrunnerton took place this morning, wJien wliat are known as Nimmo'a store, together with the Borough Council offices and the Druids' Lodgerooms (Wills Buildings), Mr A. Armstrong's etpre, and the Buck's Head Hotel were totally destroyed. The alarm was given at about ♦ a.m., when it was discovered that the building formerly occupied by Meeers Armstrong Bros, as a general store and bakery, but which has boon unoccupied for some time, was ablaze, and the (ire beyond control. The firespread rapidly to the buildings on either side, the Buck's Head Hotel to the north, and Nimmo's store and offices to the south, soon becoming a mass of flames. The whole of the corner block was reduced to ashes, nothing of the building remaining except the brick chimneys.
