Preal Awocifttion—By Telegraph.—Copyright. SYDNEY, January 21. (Received Jan. 21, at 9.35 p.m.)

As a result of the late drought and the war there is a serious decrease in railway earnings. To meet this the time-tables are being revised, and the service reduced by wheh one million train miles will be saved annually.
