LONDON,-February 18. , It is understood that the Opposition Peers have decided to support Lord Ampthill'a motion of inquiry into Lord Murray's Marconi share transactions. MEETING OF OPPOSITION PEERS. MOTION BY LORD LANSCOWNE. LONDON, February 19. (Received Feb. 19, at 11.50 p.m.) Mr Law and Lord Robert Cecil attended the Opposition Peers' meeting. Lord Lansdowne subsequently gave notice of motion in the House of Lords in similar terms to Lord Ampthill's motion.

The Unionist papers predict that the Government will boycott the Committee of Inquiry if it is appointed.
