The Dublin press deplores the failure of the peace negotiations. There are signs that many men are returning to work, and hope is not yet abandoned.
A Catholic archdeacon suggests that the priests offer mass for. the children' who were taken to England, because they are living among surroundings dangerous to their' faith.
