As the result of tho heavy downpour of rain in tho Masterton district last week several rivers overflowed their banks and flooded low-lying country. Tho Waiohino River broke its banks and tho country in the vicinity of the Black Bridge was under water. At Dalefield the country in the vicinity of Goodin'e ivas several fodt under water.
