For Wellington and Main Trunk offices, daily at 6.30 a.m. Lato-fees, C.P.0., 7.40 a.m, mail van 8 n.m. Also, supplementary mails at 10.30 a.m. Late-fees, C.P.0., 10.45 a.m. Guard's van, 11.15 a.m. For Palmerston, Oamaru, Waimate, Temuka, Timaru, Ashburton, Christchurch, overland daily, at 6.30 a.m. (late letters C.P.O. 7.40 a.m., mail van 8 a.m.), and at 10.30 a.m. (late letters C.P.O. 10.45 a.m., guard's van 11.25 a.m.). For Greymouth, Hokitika, and Seefton, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 10.30 a.m.

For Invercargill and Intermediate Offices, daily at 7.30 a,m. (lato letters C.P.0., 8 a-m., on mail van at 8.25 a.m.), and at 3.45 p.m. (late letters, 0.P.0., * p.m., guards van, 425 p.m.;. For Oamaru, Timaru, and Intermediate Offices, daily at 2.30 p.m. (late letters on guard's van 318 p.m.). For Cromwell. Clyde, Ranfurly, and Intermediate Offices, dailv at 6.30 a.m. (lato letters en guard's van 7.45 a.m.). Late-fee letters only must bear Id in addition to the ordinary postage Registered letter mails close one hour and newspaper printed matter, and pamples mails, etc., 30 minutes earlier than ordinary letter mailsNote.—The publio are earnestly requested to "register" all letters.containing money or valuablce intended to be 6ent by post. Lato letters may be posted at C.P.O. till 10.30 and on guard's van till 11.15 a.m. Correspondence for tho Continent of Europe to be speoially addressed "Via San Francisco."
