ALEXANDRA, August 28. ' Tho weather is now fine . Fifty-fiva points of rain wero registered for the week ended yesterday. Monday's mail arrived here via Roxburgh yesterday. Another mail is expected via Palmerston and Hanfurly at tho usual'hour to-iiigflrt. It is understood' that owing to the heavy load on tho Palmerston motor only letters, daily papers, and the Witness are coming on.
