THEFT OF NAVY PLANS
ALARM IN AMERICA. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. WASHINGTON, May. 14. (Received May 14, at 10 p.m.) The Navy Department has issued a statement regarding the loss of uncompleted plans for the electric wiring of the new battleship Pennsylvania during the celebrations at the Presidential inauguration. The officials declaTe that the plans are valueless, but they are alarmed because similar thefts have been frequent recently.
