LONDON, March 8. The suffragette Locke was sentenced to 18 months' imprisonment, to pay all costs, and to find two sureties of £100 to be cf good behaviour for two years.
MORE OUTRAGES. PROTEST AGAINST GOVERNMENT'S ATTITUDE. ■ ■ LONDON, March 8. (Received March 9, at 5.5 p.m.) The suffragettes have committed further pillar-box outrages at Battersea andKew, and have cut a- large number of telegraph and telephone wires elsewhere. The Duchess of Bedford, while opposed to the militant suffragettes, refuses to pay taxes on the Prince's Skating Rink, as a protest against tho manner in which the Government has treated the suffragette movement. PRIVATE BILL NEXT SESSION. LONDON, March 8. (Received March 9, at 5.5 p.m.) A private Bill will be introduced next session embodying the principle of Mr Dickenson's amendment in favour of woraen'6 suffrage. "
