The Comma arrived from, northern ports at 2 o'clock this morning. Mr F. A. Clark, acting second officer of the Koromiko, and Mr J. Stewart, acting seoond of tho IComata, have exchanged places. Mr E. T. Free, late second officer of tho Koromiko, has retired from the Union Company's service. Mr D. M'Murran has joined tho Koromiko as third engineer in place of Mr W. Sommerville, and Mr J. It. Lorraine has joined as fourth engineer in place of Mr G. M'Kay. Mr F. Sangster has joined the Mararoa as acting second officer, in place of Mr J. Romans. The Kowhai, which is due on Monday from tiho West Coast, will sail again the same day for Gisborne, via way ports. The Kotaro arrived at Invercargill about noon yesterday from Dunedin. Tho Storm arrived from Lyttelton at 4.30 p.m. yesterday, and was expected to sail again at 2 o'clock this morniing for Wanganui, via ports. Tho Mokoia, which was berthed here at 2.15 p.m. yesterday, will leave at 3 p.m. to-day for Auckland, via coastal ports. The Karori, which is undergoing her survey at Port Chalmers, will leave to-morrow for tho West Coast. Tho Wanaka w:H load at Oamaru on Monday, Bluff on Tuesday, and Timaru on Thursday, for Auckland. The Kaitangata is due hero to-day from Newcastle, with a cargo of coal for Dunedin and Oamaru. The Mocraki, which is due hero to-mor-row morning from oydnev, via Wellington and Lyttelton, will leave again on Sunday for Melbourne, via the BlufE and Hobart, The Waiwera, which left, Wellington on January 18. arrived in London on Tuesday last (the 4th inst.), malting tho journey in 45 days. Tho Tokomam arrived in Auckland from Sydney yesterday, and is expected to leavo again to-morrow for southern ports. The Es.=ex, which is due hero about March 30 from West of England ports, left Sydney on Wednesday morning for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin.

The Breezo is due here on Monday from Wanganui, arid will leavo again on the same dav on her return voyage. It was expected that ths Corinna would leave Timaru last evening for Dunedin,' .She will sail again on Saturday for (W hnnga, via the usual ports. The Star of New Zealand left New York on December 24 vrit-H cargo for Australian parts only. The Taviuni arrived at Bluff at 1 p.m. yesterday, and was to leave for Dunedin .■it 1 a.m. to-day, being due about 5 p.m. She 'will leave here to-moriow for the West Coast via the usual ports, with the exception of Oamaru.

Captain Entwistle, of the Victoria, was transferred to the command of the Wimmera at Auckland on Tuesday. His sucon tho is not yet announced. The itatatua left Timaru lost, ovp.nmc for Port Chalmers, where she is due this mornin" to load Homeward cargo.
