MISHAP TO THE MAKURA.

Yesterday morning a wireless message was received by tlvs Union Company stating that tho R.M.S. Makura, whioh is on the Vancouver ran, had dropped her,starboard propeller when at a distance of 1450 miles from Suva, or a little over half-way from Honolulu. Tho message stated, however, that tho vessel was making, 14 knots an hour on her_ port engines, and Captain Morrisby anticipated arriving in Suva only a few hours lato this afternoon. The Makura will saiTagain on Saturday morning, and should reach Auckland by daylight on Wednesday.
