Stores wero again yarded in large, numbers, and in other departments there were average supplies. Store sheep again sold well, a further advance being 6hown in the better class of ewes and lambs. Fat lambs also advanced in price. As tho export buyers had rceumed their operations, now that the freezing works full handed again, fat sheep were easier. Fat Lambs.—For the first time since the slaughtermen's strike export buyers were operating and competing keenly. A further advance of 6d to Is per head upon the previous week's values took place, but the increased prices per head were mainly duo to the better quality of lamths offered. Best lambs mide 17s to 20s 6tl; and lighter, 14« Id to 16s 6d. These prices were equal to s|d per lb for standard weights, and 5d to s£d for over-weights and second quality. Heavy porkers brought 42s to 475, and lighter kinds 35s to 40s, equivalent to s?d to 6d per lb. Store pigs: A large stock realised 45s 6d to 50s; medium, 35s to 40s; and small etores, 23s to 295. Weaners, which also mot with a good demand, brought 14s for small pigfi to 19s for well-grown eorts.
