The November issue of the Windsor Magazino is a varied and interesting fiction number, containing a very 'attractive budget of good reading matter. A number of complete stories by favourite authors give a special clnrac.tc-r to tit's issue, an<l all nro admirably illtwt rated by distinguished artists The issue includes a survey of tho history of the game of Inlliards, from the enrlirst times down to the pirsent day, by Mrlbmrno Innuin, the English champion. This article is linely illustrated from pictures and |»rtraits both ancient nnd modern. A now nature study is contributed by Charles G. I). Roberts, and the valuable series, "England's Story in Portrait and Picturo," is continued, with 22 linely-reproducol plates representing personages and incidents of tho reign of George 111. The fine art feature of the number consists of some 17 reproductions of tlio fnmona s«i pictures of Colin Hunter A.R.A, selected front the best worltt of the artist's long record. Tho black-and-white illustrations of tho number are by Muurlco Greiffcnhagen, G. C. Wilmshurst, Dudley Hardy, Charles l'cars, A. Wallis Mills, Thomas Mayfaiiik, Baliol Salmon, and others almost equally well-known.
