GERMAN INTERESTS IN MOROCCO. BERLIN, July 2. The Cologne Gazette Btates that large cultivated tracts in the vicinity of Agadir and far into the hinterland belong to German firms. The property of one firm alone equals in size a principality, while another firm employs 120 persone, including 60 commercial agents who are Ger man proteges. German trade in Southern Morocco of late has greatly expanded. The bulk of such goods, though appearing in the statistics ae British imports, art exported by German firms to Germany, via England. The paper adds that Germany is also considerably interested in mining in the hinterland. .
