ACTION BY GERMANY. OCCUPATION OF AGADIR. . Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. BERLIN, July 2. (Received July 3, at 0.10 a.m.) It is semi-ofncially announced that at the request of German firms interested in Southern Morocco and with a view to safeguarding the lives and property of Germans and German proteges, the gunboat Panther, which is now in Moroccan waters, has been ordered to proceed to Agadir., The Powers have been notified, and intimation has been conveyed- to the Moroccan Government that -the step does not imply any unfriendly intention towards Morocco. LONDON, July 2. (Received July 3, at 0.10 a.m.) Reuter's Tangier correspondent reports that the German Minister has informed Sid Mohammed and El Guebbas (Commissioner for Foreign Affairs) that Germany will occupy Agadir. MADRID, July 2. (Received July 3, at 0.10 a.m.) It ia officially reported that German troops have been landed at Arzila. PARIS, July 2. (Received July 3, at 0.10 a.m.) The German Ambassador has informed M. Deselves (Minister for Foreign Affairs) that the despatch of the gunboat was owing to the agitation in the Agadir district and to convey assistance and relief if needed. He added that the vessel would be withdrawn as 60on as tranquillity had been restored.' He hoped that the measures taken would in nowise modify the relations between France and Germany. TANGIER, July 2. (Received July 3, at 0.10 a.m.) Germany haa notified Morocco that she is occupying the Agadir hinterland.
