HEAVY WEATHER AT SEA.

SHIPPING DELAYED. (Pen United Press Association ! GISBORNE, June 29. A heavy southerly sea last night interfered with shipping. The scow Magic, which left oil Tuesday for Wellington, was compelled to return. The Fanny, which left for Napier last night, also put back to port. The Petone, from Napier, has not yet put in an-appearance. She is : believed to be sheltering. When returning from the steamer Whangape last evening the large lighter Matuku, coal laden, wa6 carried against the western groyne and badly damaged, the port side being stove in. She waa leaking Badly, and was towed.on-"the hard."
