CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOUR SOCIETY.
The annual social of tho Roslyn Methodist Christian Emlwour Society took pla.ee in tho schoolroom on Tuealay overling. An interesting and encouraging report was read by tho secretary (Miss Ilayncs), who report™! the number of members at the beginning of tho year lo be 16, although eight, had left during the year, which closod with 20. Donations htul been .hamlctl to home and foreign missions. During the evening addresses were given by Rev. 1!. H. Wylie and tho president (the Rev. T. W. Newbold). A good programme, comprising musical items and recitations, was gono through, after which refreshments were bandod round, and a thoroughly enjoyable 'evening was spent.
