A team from the St. Kilda Club visited Balclutba. yesterday, and defeated the local players bv 16 games. The visitors speak very highly of the treatment accorded them by tho Balclutha team. HAUKARO v. MILTON. Six ladies and six men [ram the Hauraro Club travelled to Milton yesterday and pliiyed a friendly match against-tho Tokoniairiro Club. It was a" fine day, ami the trip was very much enjoyed by the visitors, who were treated very liberally by the Milton Club. The match was won by Hauraro by 2i games. The following arc the scores, the names of the Hauraro players bi'ing given first: — Men's Singles.—Bundle beat Grant, 9—4; Poakfi beat. Moore. 9—7; Scott beat Drake, 9-2; Ci. Walker lost to 11.
