PRESENTATION TO THE KING.

A deputation from various churches, headed by the Archbishop of Canterbury, presented King George with an address and a copy of the Bible on the occasion of the tercentenary of the Authorised Version,
King George, in his reply, expressed liis pleasure at the celebration. The iatwurs of the translators deserved lasting honour, For three centuries millions of English-speaking people had turned in their time of need to the Authorised Version, and he hoped that his subjects would increasingly cherish their noble inheritance.
