July 29. re flow seems no' doubt that the Invercargill bowling tournament will be played this year at Christmas, instead- of jjt halter time, as hitherto. Mr A. S. \\allaee, who had intended to give notice to move at tho next centre executive westing that Easter be adhered to, lias received instructions from his club (Queenstown) to support -Christinas, and has consequently abandoned his intention. Moreover, a number of other players who supported Eastei as against New Year have now expressed their intention of supporting 1 Christmas.
